About the role
- Submit dental insurance claims accurately and on time
- Ensure claims are clean and complete within 24 hours of patient treatment
- Attach required documentation such as X-rays, narratives, photos, and charts
- Follow up on insurance claims over 21 days until payment or resolution
- Review EOBs and assist with denied or underpaid claims
- Submit corrected claims, appeals, or additional documentation as needed
- Communicate with office teams to obtain missing information or documentation
- Follow established workflows and support overall team goals
Requirements
- Experience with dental insurance claims and insurance A/R follow-up
- Knowledge of dental insurance processes and payer requirements
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable managing daily tasks and deadlines
- Experience in a dental group or DSO environment is a plus
