About the role

  • Provides leadership, direction and support to a team of sales professionals. Sets individual and team performance goals.
  • Recruits strong sales talent. Coaches team members and develops skills. Inspires and motivates team. Proactively establishes a backfill pipeline of candidates.
  • Tracks sales performance vs. goals. Provides feedback on areas for improvement and implements training initiatives. Works closely with the HR Partner.
  • Collaborates on regional and national sales strategies and initiatives. Identifies opportunities to improve sales processes.
  • Interacts with key accounts within the region. Ensures customer satisfaction and retention, addressing any escalated issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience managing regional sales reps, including experience with recruitment and development
  • 10+ total years of experience in sales
  • Track record of success leading teams to meet/exceed sales targets
  • Strong experience in sales performance management and coaching
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and coaching skills
  • Strong analytical abilities and data-driven approach to performance management
  • Expert knowledge of sales techniques, CRM systems, and managing pipelines and accurate sales forecasts
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to adapt sales strategies based on industry trends and competitive forces
