Key responsibilities & impact- Report to the Head of Information Technology.
- Own the strategy, design, implementation, and ongoing operations of enterprise IT infrastructure and security.
- Oversee the Microsoft 365 environment, including IAM, Intune, Microsoft Defender, and Purview.
- Ensure secure endpoint configuration and management with MSP and Security Operations Center partners, covering corporate devices and the BYOD program.
- Architect and scale infrastructure and cloud computing environments to support company growth.
- Lead data governance efforts, including DLP, sensitivity labels, and AI security policies.
- Advance the Information Security program in alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Work with MSPs to manage web hosting, DNS, Cloudflare, and GitHub infrastructure.
- Architect and support the cloud-based DevOps environment.
- Ensure secure home-office technology infrastructure.
- Lead implementation and optimization of cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
- Ensure infrastructure solutions comply with corporate policies, standards, and relevant regulations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including regulated life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical environments
- Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, digital workplace technologies, business systems, and cybersecurity controls
- Experience managing MSPs, vendors, and third-party technology partners
- Working knowledge of SOX, GxP, FDA-regulated environments, and NIST CSF compliance and control frameworks
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure, cloud architecture, and modern IT infrastructure
- Familiarity with AI-enabled workplace tools, governance considerations, and business-process applications
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and willingness to engage in hands-on technical support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
