About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with overall business objectives.
- Build relationships with the business to gain insights and effectively provide expert HR support.
- Create strategic business plans to implement HR end to end support and roll out HR programs and practices including compensation, staffing, employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, and employee development.
- Provide employee relations support including guidance and expertise on employee matters.
- Support change management, training, and development of employees.
- Support the talent acquisition process including the selection and successfully onboarding of new employees.
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/BA Human Resources degree preferred.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in an HR partner position or related field.
- Deep expertise in HR data analytics and knowledge of HR systems including Workday.
- Knowledge of employment law.
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications including Outlook and Word.
- Expert skills in Excel and PowerPoint required.
- May require a background check due to job duties requiring routine access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer’s proprietary data.
