Monitor campaign performance metrics, analyze results, and recommend optimizations to maximize effectiveness and ROI.
Leverage programmatic technology to enhance audience targeting, maximize inventory yield, and improve campaign performance.
Lead the entire sales process from initial outreach to closing deals, including pitching, proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, timely updates, and proactive support throughout campaign lifecycles.
Stay informed about political trends, election cycles, emerging digital technologies, and best practices in political and programmatic advertising.
Collaborate with internal teams (operations, creative, analytics) to ensure flawless campaign execution and client satisfaction.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective and existing clients.
Develop a deep understanding of clients' political objectives and translate them into effective advertising strategies.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and campaign performance in CRM systems.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build relationships and stay current with market trends.
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas and KPIs.
Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to inform product development and sales strategies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Political Science, Business, or related field preferred.
5 years of experience in digital media sales, with specific experience in programmatic ad sales.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in digital advertising.
Strong understanding of programmatic advertising platforms, targeting capabilities, data-driven ad buying, and campaign optimization techniques.
Knowledge of the political landscape, election cycles, and campaign finance regulations.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation abilities and proven closing skills.
Experience working with ad tech partners, managing programmatic deal structures, and optimizing real-time bidding strategies.
Proficiency in analyzing campaign data and making data-driven recommendations.
Experience with CRM systems and sales management tools.
