About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Presales Solutions Consultants with the preparation of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Scopes of Work (SOWs) for standard opportunities
  • Translate customer requirements and technical input into structured solution documentation
  • Maintain consistency with solution design standards, templates, and documentation frameworks
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and Presales teams to validate solution accuracy
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of service offerings and vendor solutions to support alignment with customer requirements
  • Coordinate end-to-end tender and RFP response activities, including timelines, submissions, and stakeholder engagement
  • Review bid documentation and identify submission requirements and key deliverables
  • Coordinate internal resources and track required contributions from relevant stakeholders
  • Manage bid schedules, meetings, deadlines, and communication activities
  • Ensure tender submissions are completed accurately and submitted within required timeframes
  • Prepare proposals, SOWs, BOMs, and supporting client documentation
  • Edit, proofread, and quality-check tender responses and proposals
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with branding, quality, and compliance standards
  • Maintain proposal templates, content libraries, and bid documentation repositories
  • Support Sales and Account Management teams with documentation and opportunity tracking
  • Assist with the progression of active opportunities through proactive follow-up and coordination
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and opportunity information
  • Act as a key coordination point between Sales, Presales, Business Development, Bid, Marketing, and technical teams
  • Maintain and improve documentation templates, workflows, and operational processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve turnaround times and efficiency across presales and bid activities
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies, services, and market trends
  • Adhere to document management, filing, quality assurance, and version control standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in presales support, bid coordination, tender management, sales support, or technical documentation roles
  • Experience working within IT services, managed services, technology, or related industries
  • Experience supporting Australian or international clients and teams is highly regarded
  • Sound understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, networking, and managed services
  • Exposure to enterprise vendor ecosystems such as Microsoft, HPE, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Veeam, Citrix, Aruba, Trend Micro, or similar technologies
  • Understanding of solution documentation, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and Scopes of Work (SOWs)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Experience with project coordination and planning tools is advantageous
  • Exposure to bid and RFP management platforms such as RFPIO is desirable
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, or similar platforms
  • Strong document management, version control, and reporting capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder coordination and relationship management abilities
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, process-driven, and comfortable working independently
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within distributed and multicultural teams
