About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Configure and maintain software platforms to meet client and organisational requirements.
  • Set up workflows, forms, business rules, user permissions, security roles, and system settings.
  • Support software implementations, upgrades, and enhancement initiatives.
  • Perform testing and validation of configuration changes.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation and configuration records.
  • Provide application support through a range of support channels.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application-related issues.
  • Collaborate with software vendors and internal teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Monitor support requests and ensure timely, professional resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of support activities and outcomes.
  • Deliver training programs for end users, administrators, and management teams.
  • Develop user guides, training resources, and knowledge base content.
  • Support organisations in improving software adoption and user engagement.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions and refresher training where required.
  • Translate technical concepts into practical, user-friendly guidance.
  • Work with clients to understand existing business processes and operational challenges.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology and automation.
  • Recommend best-practice solutions and system enhancements.
  • Help organisations maximise the value of their technology investments.
  • Develop expertise across multiple software platforms used within the aged care and community services sectors.
  • Stay current with industry developments, software updates, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and user training capabilities.
  • Experience configuring, administering, or supporting business applications and software platforms.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Proven customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to create clear documentation, user guides, knowledge articles, and process instructions.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
  • Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Experience within aged care, disability, healthcare, community services, or not-for-profit organisations.
  • Exposure to Client Management Systems (CMS), CRM platforms, workforce management systems, or cloud-based business applications.
  • Experience with platforms such as AlayaCare, Carelink, Nightingale, Zoho, HubSpot, Employment Hero, or similar solutions.
  • Understanding of aged care operations, Support at Home, CHSP, NDIS, or related programs.
  • Experience supporting software implementation, system upgrades, or digital transformation initiatives.
