About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You oversee our audio and video podcasts as Project Manager — from the initial idea through recording to publication.
- Guest management is at the core of what you do: you research and recruit compelling guests.
- As a content advisor you prepare our host, Michél-Philipp Maruhn, with briefings, guest dossiers and question lists.
- Editorial planning: topic research, episode planning and maintaining the editorial calendar.
- You coordinate our internal and external production teams: briefings, schedules, and feedback loops for editing and post-production.
- Post-production follow-up is your stage: you produce all texts related to each episode.
- Release management: you handle distribution across all relevant platforms, including metadata and SEO-optimized descriptions.
- You contribute to selecting the best podcast moments for social clips and work closely with our marketing team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed training or degree in media, communications, journalism, event management or a comparable field — or demonstrable practical experience
- Experience in project management, editorial work, or in an executive/advisory assistant role — ideally in media, podcasts or events
- Confident, professional manner: communicating with CEOs, entrepreneurs and their offices is natural to you — in writing and in person
- Organizational talent: you juggle recording schedules, guests, deadlines and release plans without losing track
- Editorial instinct for strong stories, engaging guests and relevant topics
- Strong writing skills: you enjoy writing and do it well — from concise show notes to newsletter pieces
- Basic understanding of podcast and video production to brief our production team and assess quality — you do not need to do the editing yourself
- Excellent German and confident English, spoken and written
- Cloud-based working is second nature to you, e.g. Google tools (Drive, Mail, Calendar)
- You believe in the podcast medium and want to energize a conservative industry
- Willingness to travel occasionally, domestically and internationally
