About the role

  • You actively contribute to the conception, production and post-production of our audio and video formats.
  • As part of our Media team, you are responsible for the technical implementation of podcasts, short videos and support for DIGITALWERK-branded events.
  • You edit audio (mixdown, mastering) and video (editing, sound mixing, color correction) at a professional level.
  • You support our partner events on site and produce high-quality content for our social media channels.
  • You independently identify relevant content and highlights and prepare them for the target audience.

Requirements

  • You are an enrolled student in Media Engineering, Media Production, Media Communication or a comparable field.
  • You have already gained practical experience in audio and video production.
  • You have a solid understanding of camera operation, lighting design, sound design and post-production.
  • You are confident using the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects, Photoshop).
  • Cloud-based working (e.g. Google Drive, Mail, Calendar) is natural to you.
  • You have a high quality standard for image, sound and storytelling — and want to continuously improve.
  • You are curious, structured and team-oriented — while also able to work independently and flexibly.
  • You believe in the power of podcasts and video and want to actively help change a rather conservative industry.
  • You have excellent German language skills, both written and spoken (at least C2 level), as you will evaluate content editorially, identify highlights and process them independently.
Benefits
  • A steep learning curve from day one — through direct work with experienced producers, founders and brand partners.
  • Your work is visible: your productions are seen and heard by thousands of decision-makers, founders and industry experts.
  • You will build a relevant media portfolio with us that opens doors — well beyond your studies.
  • Fair and appreciative compensation that reflects your effort and contribution.
  • We provide state-of-the-art software & equipment to ensure you have the best possible working conditions to bring your ideas to life.
  • Flexible, hybrid working thanks to trust-based working hours and modern work methods.
  • We understand that work-life balance is important.
  • Space for initiative, ideas — and real responsibility.
  • If there is mutual fit, there is a clear prospect of continued collaboration after your studies.
