About the role
- Own the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
- Maintain the chart of accounts and manage expense categorization in NetSuite.
- Support management reporting and ad hoc financial analysis.
- Manage invoicing, collections, cash application, payments, bank reconciliations, and monitor daily cash flow.
- Ensure timely and accurate sales/use tax filings and other compliance obligations.
- Review, redline, and manage license agreements, renewals, SOWs, and modifications; coordinate with outside counsel as needed.
- Partner with Client Success to streamline renewal workflows and ensure timely execution.
- Maintain organized financial and contract records, support audits, and provide occasional administrative support related to finance and contracts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA-track preferred.
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS, reseller, or professional services environment.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite experience preferred.
- Familiarity with contract review and renewal processes; experience collaborating with legal or client success teams.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with contract management tools a plus.
