About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the preparation, review, and tie-out of SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and XBRL exhibits
Draft new disclosures aligned with US GAAP and peers, prepare internal reporting materials
Prepare financial statements and cash flow statements, ensuring accurate reflection of accounting areas
Project manage quarterly reporting cycle, coordinating with stakeholders and managing requests
Liaison with external auditors for timely completion of audits
Conduct peer disclosure research considering U.S. GAAP requirements
Assist with monthly Accounting closing procedures
Mentor and develop junior accounting staff while supporting ad hoc financial reporting requests
Continuously optimize SEC reporting processes and controls
Participate in special projects as they arise

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of 4 years of SEC reporting experience
B.S. in Accounting or Finance
Active CPA license strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience researching and drafting financial statements
Proficient in SEC reporting software (Workiva, Intelligize) and ERP Systems (Oracle Fusion)
Self-starter who can work independently and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Well-organized with excellent time management and attention to detail
Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
