About the role
- Strategically enhance and scale user research and design operations across the product lifecycle
- Develop and continuously improve scalable product discovery processes, rituals, and tools for participant recruitment, scheduling, incentive management, data collection, synthesis, and archival within a GDPR-compliant framework
- Drive communication of high-quality, engaging user insights across product teams and the broader organisation, focusing on segmentation and self-service access to research data
- Create, maintain, and automate standardized design documentation and templates to improve consistency, efficiency, and scalability
- Manage design team-specific tools, including usage tracking, cost reporting, and experimentation with responsible AI tools
- Support definition, tracking, and reporting of key design metrics (quantitative and qualitative) to measure impact
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain centralised accessibility documentation, tooling, and compliance across products
- Assist design leadership in implementing quality assurance processes to ensure high design standards and consistent user experience
- Strengthen collaboration between design, product, and engineering via clear communication channels and regular feedback cycles
Requirements
- Proven experience in a DesignOps, ResearchOps, or similar operational role within a modern product organization
- Deep understanding of design processes, systems, and tools, with track record of implementing and scaling design operations strategies
- Experience analyzing, optimizing, and scaling product discovery and design workflows; strong grasp of lean and agile methodologies
- Proficiency with modern design and research tools such as Figma, Dovetail, UserInterviews, and Coda
- Familiarity with accessibility tools (e.g., Stark) and design-related AI tools (e.g., Lovable)
- Basic front-end development is a plus
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to navigate ambiguity
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Experience mentoring and supporting designers and non-designers in DesignOps practices
- Familiarity with WCAG guidelines, assistive technologies, and inclusive design principles (nice to have)
- Must reside in one of the following countries: UK, Spain, Germany, Romania
