  • Your new role
  • We are searching for an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial-minded Enterprise Sales Manager with a strong background in solution-based SaaS selling within the Pharma/Biotech/Medical Device industry. In this pivotal role, you will be a vital member of our Corporate Sales Team, supporting Altmetric and ReadCube. Your primary focus will be on cultivating new business opportunities and nurturing relationships with existing clients. To excel, you must be sales-driven yet customer-focused, passionate about innovative technologies, and adept at solving customer challenges through our cutting-edge solutions.
  • In this role, you will operate as a hunter-seller, combining industry expertise with exceptional sales acumen to uncover new opportunities, deliver innovative solutions, and exceed revenue goals. You will be instrumental in aligning our cutting-edge SaaS solutions with the evolving needs of the life sciences market.
  • This is not just a sales role. It’s a leadership role in how Digital Science connects with the market. You will be expected to think and act like an owner, with full accountability for your territory and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Background & Experience
  • Proven success selling client-centric solutions, ideally software to R&D-heavy enterprises.
  • Experience in the life science ecosystem (biotech, pharma, chemistry, medical devices).
  • A consistent record of hitting and exceeding six-figure annual quotas.
  • Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce preferred), pipeline management, and opportunity qualification frameworks.
  • Mindset & Skills
  • You are structured and self-directed. You plan your year, your quarters, and your weeks. You deliver.
  • You ask the right questions to qualify fast, disqualify faster, and close well.
  • You are sharp on the phone, precise in email, and convincing in person.
  • You thrive on understanding your buyer’s world and staying one step ahead of it.
  • Clear, punchy communication. Fluency in English.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and activating Legal, Product, and Marketing when needed.
