About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work closely with Sr. Tax Director to provide in-house REIT and tax advice
  • Evaluate ongoing tax planning opportunities
  • Advise on partnership transactions and associated tax consequences
  • Support global tax teams on M&A integration
  • Monitor effectiveness of existing tax policies and make recommendations
  • Maintain strong working relationships with external consultants

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
  • At least 7 years of corporate tax experience, including public accounting, law and industry experience
  • Solid experience with and working knowledge of U.S. corporate and partnership focused on real estate industry
  • Demonstrated experience supporting M&A transactions
  • Ability to communicate complex tax technical concepts to non-tax business teams
