About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and develop the North America legal team supporting real estate, infrastructure, construction, and procurement
Serve as senior legal advisor to Development, Procurement, and Operations teams
Oversee and support the drafting and negotiation of construction and procurement agreements
Identify, assess and mitigate legal and commercial risks
Partner with internal stakeholders to facilitate project execution
Drive continuous improvement of templates and contracting processes
Oversee engagement and management of outside counsel

Requirements

What you’ll need

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Admitted to the bar and in good standing in the state in which the position is located
Minimum 12-15 years of relevant legal experience
Strong focus on real estate development and transactions
Extensive experience in negotiating complex agreements
Strong business and commercial judgment
Proven leadership experience managing legal teams
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, international environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
