About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary contact for employee relations matters, including complaints, concerns, and workplace conflicts
- Conduct impartial investigations and recommend appropriate, compliant resolutions
- Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
- Support performance management processes, including coaching, disciplinary actions, and terminations
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and practices across the organization
- Facilitate conflict resolution, mediation, and corrective action planning
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and case documentation
- Support employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive workplace culture
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and partner on policy updates
- Collaborate across HR functions (HRBPs, Tier 1, Tier 2, and leadership) to improve processes, standardization, and the HR operating model
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5-7 years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices across multiple geographies
- Experience supporting investigations, performance management, and conflict resolution
- Ability to interpret policies and make decisions aligned with company standards and legal requirements
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously
- Experience working in a matrixed or international organization preferred
- Proficiency with HR systems (e.g., Oracle HRIS) and Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent communication skills with strong judgment, discretion, and attention to detail
- Collaborative, resilient, and adaptable approach with a problem-solving mindset.
