About the role
- Maintain policy files & schedule of insurance
- Maintain local invoicing instructions for brokers/carriers and service providers
- Manage SharePoint folders including adding/removing members, organizing files, and updating external facing verbiage
- Manage Certificate of Insurance process and assist in managing third-party software
- Assist with maintaining Enterprise Risk Management records, systems and reporting
- Communicate with construction project managers and acquisitions to build project tracker for Builder’s Risk and Pollution Liability
- Review new properties and determine add/delete needs
- Support gathering of renewal exposures and application data across multiple teams and contacts, tracking process and information on applicable software (Lists, Smartsheets, SharePoint)
- Monitor Risk Management shared email distribution for ad hoc requests and communicate with team members for appropriate responses
- Review monthly bond schedules and compare with internal needs
- Complete quantitative analysis of premium spend and other trends
- Assist with premium allocations, budgets and invoice workflow in Yardi
- Manage carrier NDAs and assist brokers with signings
- Support Director of Enterprise Risk Management with project management as needed
- Gather information and report lower-level claims, escalating complex claims and analyze trends and mitigation opportunities on all claims
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Risk Management, Finance, International Business or equivalent field of study
- 3 – 5 years insurance/risk management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Power BI, Smartsheets, and RMIS software a plus
- Industry designations preferred
- Experience supporting Enterprise Risk Management programs preferred
- Yardi experience a plus
- Any AI efficiency implementation experience a plus
