About the role
- Report to the Chief Financial Officer and serve as key Finance thought leader
- Design, implement, and sustain core Finance business processes and controls
- Own budgeting and reporting processes; scale reporting and metrics for organic and inorganic growth
- Design and maintain the company data cube integrating data from multiple sources to build reports, dashboards, and KPIs
- Build and enhance financial models used to forecast and report key business metrics
- Ensure compliance with budget controls and develop reporting processes for business units
- Create reports and dashboards to highlight trends and variances; maintain reporting cadence to business units and budget owners
- Assist in preparation of presentations and analyses for executive leadership and the Board
- Proactively address stakeholder pain points through recurring touchpoints and strategic partnership workstreams
- Lead evaluation and implementation of revenue recognition software in accordance with ASC 606
- Deliver reporting improvements to inform accurate cash forecasting and reconciliation
- Seek opportunities for efficiencies and scale to support future acquisitions and revenue profiles
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 10+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 5-7 years of direct Finance experience, preferably in high-growth, fast-paced environments
- Enterprise software experience a plus
- Prior transaction and diligence experience a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with ability to build sustainable and scalable models
- NetSuite & Adaptive experience preferred
- CPA or MBA a plus
- Experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition and revenue recognition software implementation (preferred)
