About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and maintain the IT estate
  • Inventory and track the entire IT estate (PC, Mac, Linux, peripherals, software)
  • Monitor hardware condition (replacement, repair, updates)
  • Participate in planning equipment refresh cycles
  • Maintain technical documentation for the estate and performed interventions
  • Prepare, configure and deploy workstations (primarily PC, Mac, Linux)
  • Install and configure operating systems (90% Windows) and required software
  • Apply system updates and security patches
  • Standardize configurations to streamline deployment and maintenance
  • Install, update and uninstall business and office applications
  • Manage licenses and ensure compliance
  • Provide first-level technical support to users
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Technical IT education (minimum two-year post-secondary diploma; ideally Licence Pro ASR, DUT Networks & Telecommunications, or equivalent)
  • Experience managing a heterogeneous IT estate preferred
  • Autonomy and initiative
  • Good interpersonal skills and a customer-service orientation
  • Strong Windows skills, with knowledge of macOS and Linux
  • Familiarity with deployment and endpoint management tools (Intune, NinjaOne, etc.) is a plus
  • Understanding of networking concepts (LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN)
  • Familiarity with identity and account management systems (Entra ID, MFA)
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills and a strong user-service mindset
