About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own end-to-end material planning, inventory strategy, freight and logistics optimization, and supplier performance for the light manufacturing facility
  • Develop inventory reduction strategy through safety stock reviews, lead time management, and PO push-out/pull-in execution
  • Improve inventory turns by reviewing order quantities and consumption horizons
  • Manage component-level inventory reduction and excess material consumption initiatives
  • Oversee consignment inventory strategy across the Sandy facility and contract manufacturer locations
  • Lead freight cost reduction and ocean freight planning strategies
  • Develop tariff avoidance strategies using USMCA and alternative sourcing
  • Drive strategic sourcing and purchase price variance savings through supplier negotiations and buydown programs
  • Execute project-level cost savings, including manufacturing footprint and box-build sourcing strategies
  • Own on-time delivery performance through PO management and supplier collaboration platforms
  • Align contract manufacturer delivery commitments with customer requirements and resolve delivery conflicts
  • Partner with Engineering on New Product Introduction readiness
  • Monitor and report supply chain performance metrics, risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership
  • Lead material requirements planning to support the master production schedule
  • Manage domestic and international supplier and subcontractor relationships
  • Support export compliance, trade agreements, customs documentation, and import/export coordination
  • Maintain ERP data integrity for planning, inventory, and purchasing
  • Extract and manipulate ERP data using BAQs
  • Build and maintain Excel and Power Query supply chain reports and dashboards
  • Translate ERP data into actionable insights and automate recurring reporting workflows

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8–10+ years of progressive supply chain experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6–8 years with a Master's degree; or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience reducing inventory and improving working capital in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with freight cost optimization, ocean versus air/ground freight strategy, and carrier management
  • Working knowledge of trade compliance, tariff strategy, global sourcing, importing, exporting, trade agreements, and customs regulations
  • Experience managing supplier and contract manufacturer relationships, delivery performance, and cost negotiations
  • Strong analytical skills and experience tracking inventory turns, OTD, and PPV savings KPIs
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query
  • Ability to write and run Business Activity Queries (BAQs) or equivalent ERP query tools
  • Proficiency with ERP systems such as Epicor, NetSuite, SAP, or equivalent
  • Proficiency with supplier collaboration platforms such as SourceDay or similar
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills and experience partnering with Engineering, Finance, and Operations
  • Must have valid work authorization in the United States; visa sponsorship is unavailable
  • Desired but not required: APICS CPIM, CSCP, or ISM CPSD certification
  • Desired but not required: USMCA or other free trade agreement strategy execution experience
  • Desired but not required: light electronics or hardware manufacturing experience
  • Desired but not required: international subcontractor management, including Asia-Pacific or Mexico-based manufacturing
  • Desired but not required: PMP/PgMP certification
