Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs, present solutions, and drive the technical sales cycle for Digi's wireless routers and managed services
Design and propose end-to-end solutions for customers, integrating Digi's cellular routers, remote management, security, and managed connectivity services
Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and technical deep dives for customers and partners
Train and support partners to successfully position and deploy Digi’s wireless connectivity solutions
Assist in creating technical proposals, white papers, best practice guides, and solution architectures tailored to customer needs
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging wireless technologies (5G, LTE, Private Networks), and IoT innovations to provide thought leadership
Work closely with product management, engineering, and customer support teams to relay field insights and contribute to product development
Provide guidance on deployments, troubleshooting, and solution optimization to ensure customer success

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
10+ years of experience in technical sales, solutions engineering, or sales engineering
Experience working with carriers bringing new solutions to the market
Technical Knowledge: Cellular networking (4G LTE, 5G, CBRS, Private LTE, SIM management)
4G/5G Core/RAN experience and Wireless spectrum working knowledge
Wireless routers, gateways, and remote network management
IP networking (TCP/IP, VPN, SD-WAN, MPLS, CGNAT, firewall policies, security protocols, routing protocols, packet sniffers, trouble shooting)
Linux networking stack, shell & programming experience a plus
Managed connectivity services and cloud-based networking solutions
Proven ability to influence technical decision-makers and assist in technically closing complex deals
Excellent presentation, customer-facing, and documentation skills
Professional Level Networking Industry Certifications are a plus
