About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform a variety of functions, including creating forecasts and conducting financial analyses
Provide actionable insights to support decision-making
Contribute to the organization’s financial strategy and planning
Participate in the preparation of agency budget
Support preparation of contract renewal packages including amendments and budget modifications
Prepare and analyze operating and strategic plans, including monthly and quarterly forecasts
Design complex worksheets and/or databases for tracking and reporting
Produce monthly budget monitoring reports for corporate finance
Prepare and publish monthly operating management reports and attend financial review meetings
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and cost reports
Assist with financial reporting, preparation of supporting schedules and data analysis
Monthly expense monitoring and analysis
Perform related duties as requested.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of relevant experience
Understanding of accounting principles and practices
Ability to create insights from reports and dashboards using reporting tools equivalent to Power BI is highly desirable
Intermediate knowledge of budget development/management, cost projections and reporting requirements
Advanced personal computer skills including complex Excel spreadsheets
Effective oral and written communication skills
A commitment to team objectives and Didi Hirsch philosophies
Ability to adapt to changing needs by acquiring new skills and knowledge.
