About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and maintain scalable, maintainable, and high-performing backend software.
Contribute to architectural and design decisions that balance short-term delivery with long-term sustainability.
Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to validate ideas, estimate effort, and assess feasibility.
Deliver high-quality software reliably and on time.
Support continuous deployment while following the team's release plan.
Help identify and mitigate technical and operational risks early.
Contribute to improving developer productivity through better tools, processes, and workflows.
Support rapid prototyping and technical validation before full implementation.
Develop and maintain complex Oracle stored procedures implementing business workflows and business logic.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Highly proficient in Java SE and modern Java coding principles.
Experience working on large, complex Java projects with extensive dependencies, using Maven.
Experience with the Spring Framework — e.g. Spring Core, MVC, and Context.
Builds REST APIs and event-driven services.
Skilled in database modeling (SQL & NoSQL) and caching strategies.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle: stored procedures, triggers, and complex schemas, including migrations.
Proficient with Hibernate and Liquibase.
Experience with code generation tooling.
Experience with file processing (XML, CSV, Excel) and API integrations.
Experienced in profiling, debugging, and performance optimization.
