About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Disciplinary and professional leadership as well as development of a team of Project Managers and Product Owners
Responsibility for the successful planning, control and implementation of complex software development projects
Active participation in key projects in the role of Project Manager or Product Owner
Ensuring project quality, adherence to budget and timely delivery
Establishment and further development of project management and product ownership standards, methods and best practices (e.g., agile frameworks)
Close collaboration with clients at decision-maker level and active stakeholder management
Identification of upselling and cross-selling opportunities in existing client projects
Resource planning and capacity management within the team
Coaching and mentoring team members to continuously develop competencies
Support for presales activities, proposal preparation and project costing

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience in project management and/or product ownership in the context of software development or digital projects
Experience leading teams, ideally in an agency or digital environment
Solid knowledge of agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) as well as traditional project management approaches
Strong communication skills and a confident manner when dealing with clients and internal stakeholders
Strong commercial thinking and a sense of responsibility for budget, quality and customer satisfaction
Experience working with complex IT and software architectures is an advantage
Structured, solution-oriented and proactive working style
Very good German and English language skills
