About the role

  • You work at the intersection of Finance and Transformation and actively drive the development of our finance processes and the Workday ERP system.
  • You support end‑to‑end processes – from requirements gathering and conceptual design to testing and implementation.
  • In close collaboration with business teams, you take responsibility for the global Chart of Accounts.
  • You ensure that all accounting‑related matters are represented correctly, audit‑proof and aligned with current standards – especially HGB; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
  • You take functional and system responsibility for selected core processes (e.g. Procurement‑to‑Pay) and translate complex business needs into structured and scalable system solutions.
  • You act as a Key User, taking ownership of testing, quality assurance and release coordination while providing 1st‑ and 2nd‑level support within the Finance team.
  • You actively contribute to monthly and annual closing activities as part of the Finance team.
  • You drive the implementation of group consolidation within Workday and support operational consolidation tasks.

Requirements

  • You have a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Accounting or a comparable field.
  • You bring several years of experience in Finance – for example in Accounting, Controlling or Group Accounting – and you are familiar with monthly and annual closing activities.
  • You know the current accounting standards, especially HGB; knowledge of IFRS is an advantage.
  • You have experience with ERP systems, ideally Workday Financials – including configuration, testing and process design.
  • You understand processes and systems deeply and you translate complex business requirements into structured system solutions.
  • You work in a structured, quality‑oriented and independent way, with a strong sense of accuracy and reliability.
  • You communicate confidently and manage stakeholders effectively within international environments.
  • You have business proficiency in German and English.
