About the role

  • Execute the transition plan based on the Due Diligence Document.
  • Gradually take over with the other Diconium team members the development part of DOP-TS.
  • Work on code based on the requirements from VW.
  • Work and improve the CI / CD pipelines.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional backend development experience in production environments.
  • Expertise in Java-based development, including Lambda functions and modern frameworks.
  • Solid hands-on experience with AWS serverless architecture (DynamoDB, Aurora, Elastic Beanstalk, S3, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, CloudWatch).
  • Strong proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code, ideally Terraform, for large-scale environments.
  • Experience designing event-driven systems, asynchronous workflows, and batch processing.
  • Advanced understanding of software architecture, clean code principles, and scalable system design.
  • Practical experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
  • Nice-to-have skills: Knowledge of AWS IAM and Parameter Store.
  • Experience with legacy data formats (COBOL).
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery concepts.
  • Experience with xsd, xslt and xml.
