About the role
- Act as Product Owner for Salesforce-related initiatives, receiving requests from business stakeholders and shaping them into well-defined, value-driven requirements.
- Challenge incoming requests when needed to ensure alignment with Salesforce best practices, platform sustainability, and long-term system health.
- Maintain and prioritize the Salesforce backlog in collaboration with stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria that can be effectively implemented by the team.
- Work closely with developers, admins, and other roles throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Support Agile ceremonies such as refinement sessions, sprint planning, and reviews.
- Contribute to testing and validation to ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations.
Requirements
- Experience working in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role within a Salesforce environment.
- Practical understanding of Salesforce platforms and standard capabilities (e.g. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud)
- Familiarity with Agile delivery and backlog management.
- Ability to assess business requests critically and propose alternative solutions when requirements conflict with best practices or system stability.
- Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with both business and technical stakeholders.
- A structured and quality-focused mindset, with attention to long-term platform consistency.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g. Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder) are a plus.
- Hands-on experience with basic Salesforce configuration and reporting is a plus.
