About the role

  • You will provide high-quality, technology-specific architecture consulting within the Salesforce ecosystem (e.g., Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing/Engagement, Platform, Data Cloud).
  • You will be responsible for Solution and Enterprise Architecture, including data, integration, security, and identity architecture — from discovery through design to go-live and operation.
  • You will manage architecture governance: guardrails, standards, design reviews, decision records, naming conventions, as well as CI/CD and DevSecOps (e.g., Git/GitHub/Copado).
  • You will design integrations (REST/SOAP, platform events/eventing, middleware such as MuleSoft) as well as data models, performance, and scaling concepts.
  • In agile projects, you will facilitate architecture and design sessions, support the PO/PMO, prioritize non-functional requirements, and ensure ‘quality by design’.
  • You will act as an interface between the customer, other stakeholders, and the implementation team, translating business goals into resilient architecture blueprints and epics/stories.
  • You will lead cross-functional teams (consulting, development, QA) professionally, coach developers/consultants, and support code/configuration reviews.
  • When required, you will be hands-on: PoCs/spikes, complex configurations, release/cutover planning, and technical risk assurance.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in the Salesforce environment, including 3+ years in an architecture or lead role.
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce multi-cloud (at minimum Sales & Service) as well as integration and data architecture.
  • Solid knowledge of security and identity (SSO, OAuth, authorization flows, Shield/PLS) and limit/performance optimization.
  • Confident in Apex, LWC and Flows, test strategies (unit/integration), CI/CD and version management.
  • Very strong requirements and process expertise; excellent communication and presentation skills in German (C1+).
  • Leadership experience in managing and developing teams — with or without disciplinary responsibility.
  • Must have: At least 4 relevant Salesforce certifications in the areas of Application or System Architect.
  • Nice to have: ≥4 years of experience in Automotive Sales & Marketing projects (OEM/Importer/Dealer), certifications such as System/Application Architect, progressing on the CTA path, and experience with MuleSoft/Marketing Cloud/Data Cloud/OmniStudio.
