About the role
- Drive strategic planning, business development, and growth initiatives for the Fundraising Solutions division to achieve aggressive year-over-year revenue and profitability goals.
- Build scalable systems, processes, and infrastructures that increase client capacity while maintaining quality and outcomes.
- Partner with the Chief Growth Officer and Executive Leadership Team to shape long-term strategy and align service line objectives with the firm’s mission and overall growth plan.
- Oversee P/L for the Fundraising Solutions division, managing 7–8 figure budgets, forecasting, and margin optimization in partnership with the SVP, Operations.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows, systems, and tools that streamline project delivery and resource utilization across multiple concurrent client programs.
- Ensure the right balance of service excellence, staff workload, and client profitability through data-driven decision making.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of account directors, strategists, and specialists.
- Create a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration across the division.
- Provide mentorship and growth pathways that align individual development with organizational goals.
- Serve as senior strategic partner to key clients, ensuring delivery of exceptional service and measurable results.
- Build and maintain high-trust relationships with nonprofit executives and C-suite leaders.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to strengthen client outcomes and identify cross-selling opportunities across DickersonBakker’s integrated service lines.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, direct response marketing, or agency management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven success scaling a service-based business through periods of rapid growth.
- Strong financial acumen and demonstrated P&L ownership of 7–8 figure budgets.
- Expertise in project management, resource planning, and process optimization across multiple concurrent programs.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Experience building and maintaining trusted relationships with senior nonprofit leaders and boards.
- Experience in serving the nonprofit or faith-based sector strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
