Intermediate Electrical Engineer
DIALOGIntermediate Electrical Engineer supporting the design and delivery of electrical systems for diverse projects. Collaborating with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams throughout all project phases.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with electrical engineers and technologists to design power, lighting, fire alarm, security, and communications systems
- Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to develop coordinated and sustainable design solutions
- Develop engineering drawings and high-quality BIM (Revit) models
- Assist in preparing reports, specifications, and construction documentation
- Apply local and national codes to design solutions
- Participate in all phases of projects from concept through construction completion
- Provide support during contract administration, including site visits and construction meetings
- Assist with coordination of project deliverables and schedules
- Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 6+ years of relevant experience in consulting or building systems design
- Experience with electrical systems design including power, lighting, fire alarm, security, and communications
- Familiarity with building and electrical codes
- Proficiency in BIM/Revit is required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to obtain Government of Canada Security Clearance
- Willingness to travel to project sites
