About the role

Requirements

  • Completed training as a state-recognized educator (Erzieher*in) or curative education nurse (Heilerziehungspfleger*in), or a degree in Social Work / Social Pedagogy / Special Education with state recognition, or an equivalent qualification
  • Driver’s license (Class B)
  • Open, warm and good-humored, with enthusiasm for creating a joyful, family-like daily life with the children
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with children, including those who are initially withdrawn or reserved
  • Ability to remain calm and composed even in challenging situations
  • Commitment to good cooperation and teamwork (e.g., jointly agreed duty rosters)
  • Identification with the Christian values the organization represents
