About the role
- Support and promote the development of children and adolescents in a family-like setting
- Develop new perspectives for the children and adolescents
- Lead experiential education outings
- Help shape a structured daily routine within the residential group
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Requirements
- Completed training as a state-recognized educator (Erzieher*in) or curative education nurse (Heilerziehungspfleger*in), or a degree in Social Work / Social Pedagogy / Special Education with state recognition, or an equivalent qualification
- Driver’s license (Class B)
- Open, warm and good-humored, with enthusiasm for creating a joyful, family-like daily life with the children
- Ability to quickly build rapport with children, including those who are initially withdrawn or reserved
- Ability to remain calm and composed even in challenging situations
- Commitment to good cooperation and teamwork (e.g., jointly agreed duty rosters)
- Identification with the Christian values the organization represents
