About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations case intake, triage, and initial assessment.
  • Provide guidance to employees, managers and HR Business Partners on routine employee relations matters, including policy interpretation and application.
  • Support early-stage performance management, including coaching conversations and pre–performance improvement plan (PIP) guidance.
  • Manage routine disciplinary actions (e.g., attendance, policy adherence) in alignment with company guidelines and escalation protocols.
  • Administer and track employee probation periods, ensuring timely reviews, documentation, and alignment with company processes.
  • Conduct exit interviews and support offboarding activities, including documentation and trend tracking.
  • Support unemployment claims and standardized severance processing in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all employee relations cases in ServiceNow.
  • Produce ER reports and analytics, including case volume trends, key metrics, and actionable insights for the ER team.
  • Identify patterns, trends, and emerging risks and escalate appropriately to the Employee Relations team.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Legal, and HR Operations to ensure coordinated and effective case management.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all employee interactions and documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including documentation standardization and process optimization.
  • Provide support for overflow casework across regions based on business needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in Human Resources or Employee Relations, preferably in a high-volume or shared services environment
  • Foundational knowledge of employee relations practices and employment law in countries where Insulet operates is preferred (e.g. U.S., Mexico, UK, etc.)
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, as this role supports a global Employee Relations function
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting and data interpretation (Excel, HR systems, or case management tools)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across regions and cultures
  • Demonstrated ability to follow processes while exercising sound judgment in identifying when to escalate issues.
