About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify training needs for Insulet field organizations
- Engage internal and external experts to develop training modules and content
- Collaborate with Commercial team to identify on-going training needs
- Deliver timely responses to changing market conditions
- Conduct field co-travels and reviews to ensure adequate training
- Prepare and deliver coaching feedback
- Assist sales and clinical team members with developing product and customer knowledge
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with field sales team
- Support Insulet Training Department in developing new hire training curriculum
- Manage reporting requirements necessary to support training and development of employees
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree; minimum 8 years of experience in the field including 5 years strong Sales, Clinical and/or Training experience in medical device or healthcare industry
- Strong diabetes disease state and pump knowledge required
- Field Sales Training experience is preferred
- Appropriate certifications in professional education or training methods preferred
- Proven track record of consistent performance in meeting or exceeding expectations
- Strong leadership, clinical selling knowledge, coaching and development skills
- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to communicate at multiple levels of an organization
- PC skills, word processing, spreadsheet, database
- Ability to organize and judge priorities
