💰 $107,300 - $160,925 per year
About the role
- Reconciliation and analysis of complex accounting areas, such as: gross-to-net accounting related to pharmacy rebates and chargebacks, situations concerning consideration payable to customers, and other sales reserves
- Provide support for accounting for new business initiatives
- In coordination with the Revenue Controller, assist with various projects and accounting matters and drive value within the business
- Work with external auditors to provide required schedules and support
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Perform primary review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and fluctuation analyses associated with the monthly and quarterly close process
- Interface with the Market Access team to understand the Company’s go-to-market strategy and associated programs
- Proactively partner with the business and FP&A to understand transactions to ensure accounting is appropriate
- Maintain quality and timeliness of internal control requirements associated with revenue reporting within the team
- Support various ongoing projects throughout the year
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- MSA / MBA a plus
- CPA preferred
- Minimum 5 years of public accounting and/or corporate experience at life sciences entities preferred
- Individual with a track record of streamlining processes
- Team leader as well as a team player, with strong management skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with SAP a plus
- Ability to organize and judge priorities
- Deadline and detail oriented with strong analytical skills
- Effective communicator across levels of management and functional organizations
- Proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office Software, especially Excel
