About the role
- Support the execution of the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
- Assist in managing the Compliance Hotline and responding to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards of conduct by evaluating, initiating, or recommending investigative procedures.
- Assist in conducting compliance risk assessment activities, gathering information, evaluating potential risks, and supporting corrective action planning.
- Assist with compliance training content, communication plans, and delivery to employees and business partners.
- Prepare routine compliance metrics, dashboards, and status updates for management.
- Provide day-to-day guidance to business partners regarding compliance policies, procedures, and expectations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, Legal, IT, Privacy, and business functions to support operational compliance.
- Help maintain compliance tools and systems (e.g., HCP Engagement & Conflict of Interest platforms, SharePoint resources).
- Support data collection and validation for Open Payments (Sunshine Act) reporting.
- Serve as a point of contact for compliance-related questions from employees.
- Stay informed about relevant compliance updates and best practices within the medical device and pharmaceutical industries.
- Support special projects and contribute to ongoing enhancements of the compliance program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5–7+ years of experience in Compliance within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar regulated industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of compliance best practices within healthcare or life sciences.
- Solid business acumen and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with data analysis and spreadsheet tools.
- Familiarity with AdvaMed/PhRMA Codes, HIPAA, OIG Compliance Program Guidance, and relevant healthcare regulations such as the False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute.
- Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CHC, CCEP) is a plus.
