About the role
- Own and manage event tradeshow portables program, including vendor and inventory management, shipping and customer support for internal users.
- Create and manage purchase orders, track invoices, and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Coordinate the ordering and shipment of event materials and branded assets for events.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to anticipate product needs and manage forecasting and inventory levels for event activations.
- Design pre- and post-event surveys to gather attendee feedback and generate actionable insights.
- Support the setup and troubleshooting of event tech platforms including registration, mobile apps, and engagement tools.
- Maintain shared resources and templates related to meetings and events.
- Organize and manage shared meeting folders to ensure consistent structure, easy access, and version control.
- Attendee Management for events including managing rooming lists and registration reports for ancillary events.
- Provide general support to the Professional Events team as needed.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional work experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 4 years of experience in marketing, event planning, administrative support, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Demonstrates initiative and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, and digital platforms
- Able to work independently and part of a team
- High level of dependability with a strong sense of urgency, results-orientation, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with event registration tools and technologies such as Cvent, Swoogo, Zuant or others or demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Veeva and other internal technologies a plus
