About the role

  • Insulet (maker of Omnipod) seeking Software Test Engineer for web applications in a hybrid MX office
  • Work on next-generation medical device software for people living with diabetes
  • Write and execute test cases for Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)
  • Build test frameworks and methodologies integrated in agile development
  • Write manual test cases and develop automation scripts
  • Work closely with software developers to identify, correct defects, and integrate/debug systems
  • Develop and maintain test databases for automated validation of software revisions
  • Ensure development and testing follow company policies for medical products

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering OR 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Proven experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience writing clear and comprehensive test cases
  • Experience with white-box and black-box testing
  • Solid SQL scripting skills
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
  • Advanced knowledge about API, databases, and cloud testing (preferred)
  • Experience with backend testing (preferred)
  • Advanced knowledge of STLC and SDLC (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of test theory (preferred)
  • Experience with build & continuous integration tools (Azure Pipeline / Jenkins) (preferred)
  • Detail oriented with effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Experience with regulatory projects (Pharmacy, Medical Device) (nice to have)
  • Experience writing automation scripts and frameworks (Java) and tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Gradle (nice to have)
