About the role
- Insulet (maker of Omnipod) seeking Software Test Engineer for web applications in a hybrid MX office
- Work on next-generation medical device software for people living with diabetes
- Write and execute test cases for Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)
- Build test frameworks and methodologies integrated in agile development
- Write manual test cases and develop automation scripts
- Work closely with software developers to identify, correct defects, and integrate/debug systems
- Develop and maintain test databases for automated validation of software revisions
- Ensure development and testing follow company policies for medical products
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering OR 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Proven experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience writing clear and comprehensive test cases
- Experience with white-box and black-box testing
- Solid SQL scripting skills
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Advanced knowledge about API, databases, and cloud testing (preferred)
- Experience with backend testing (preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of STLC and SDLC (preferred)
- Strong understanding of test theory (preferred)
- Experience with build & continuous integration tools (Azure Pipeline / Jenkins) (preferred)
- Detail oriented with effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Experience with regulatory projects (Pharmacy, Medical Device) (nice to have)
- Experience writing automation scripts and frameworks (Java) and tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Gradle (nice to have)
