About the role
- Lead or coordinate CI and strategic projects that impact lab workflows and operational performance.
- Develop and implement software tools, dashboards, and process enhancements to support lab operations and complaint investigations.
- Collaborate with lab staff and engineers to gather feedback, conduct pilot testing, and validate new tools or processes.
- Drive AI-based tool development and integration to support data analysis, automation, and decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with CI teams and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support strategic planning and execution of lab initiatives aligned with business and quality objectives.
- Facilitate change management and communication related to new tools, processes, or systems.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and outcomes using appropriate metrics and KPIs.
- Ensure all initiatives comply with applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA QSR, ISO 13485).
- Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the lab.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, life sciences, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a regulated industry, preferably medical devices or diagnostics.
- Experience leading or supporting CI, operational excellence, or engineering projects.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with complaint handling, lab operations, or quality systems is a plus.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Python) and process mapping.
- Experience with AI/ML tools or software development is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a dynamic environment.
