About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the end-to-end employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate, compliant, and consistent execution of all processes
- Deliver employment documentation (contracts, annexes, letters) in line with Bulgarian labour legislation (LC)
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data across HR systems (e.g. Hibob)
- Coordinate onboarding to ensure smooth and consistent execution for new hires
- Deliver and continuously improve induction practices from an operational perspective
- Provide operational HR support on employee lifecycle matters, working closely with the People Partner Lead to ensure consistent process delivery
- Ensure alignment with Bulgarian labour law, statutory requirements, and internal policies
- Coordinate employment documentation, including contract changes and required notifications
- Coordinate with accountants to support accurate payroll delivery, including variable inputs, absence data, and validation
- Oversee benefits administration and employee communication
- Coordinate leave and absence processes, including annual leave, sick leave, and statutory entitlements
- Ensure accurate tracking, documentation, and system updates in line with local requirements
- Coordinate employee exits, ensuring compliant processes, complete documentation, and system accuracy
- Maintain consistency and completeness of employee records throughout the lifecycle
- Drive improvements across People Operations processes, systems, and workflows
- Deliver and support HR initiatives through effective operational execution
- Coordinate engagement activities and internal People programmes from an operational perspective
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in People Operations / HR Operations
- Strong knowledge of Bulgarian employment legislation and practices
- Experience across the employee lifecycle, including payroll coordination and employee administration
- Familiarity with HR systems (e.g. Hibob or similar)
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Clear and effective communication skills
- High level of discretion when handling sensitive information
- Strong attention to detail and process accuracy
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach
