About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the Australian subject matter expert for the Dext platform, working across pre-sales, implementation design, and sales enablement.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations and solution consultations to accounting firms and practices.
- Translate Australian compliance workflows (BAS/GST, tax, ATO reporting) into effective Dext configurations.
- Support mid-market and enterprise opportunities through solution design, scoping, and Proof-of-Concepts.
- Contribute to proposals, pitch materials, and implementation planning.
- Enable sales teams through training, coaching, and demo best practice frameworks.
- Develop reusable demo scripts, templates, and enablement resources.
- Act as a Voice of Customer conduit to Product, sharing structured market feedback.
- Represent Dext at industry events, conferences, and partner engagements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience working within an Australian accounting or bookkeeping practice
- Strong understanding of Australian compliance workflows (GST/BAS, tax, reporting)
- Proven experience delivering product demos or customer-facing presentations
- Experience in requirements gathering or consultative selling environments
- Strong knowledge of accounting platforms (Xero essential; MYOB or QuickBooks Online advantageous)
- Ability to translate business workflows into system configurations
- Confident communicator across both technical and non-technical audiences
- CA ANZ, CPA Australia, or equivalent qualification
- Experience with Dext
- Exposure to mid-market or enterprise accounting firms
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Gemini)
- Experience contributing to sales enablement or training programmes
