About the role

  • Support the execution of Dexerto’s talent relations strategy in alignment with editorial priorities and commercial objectives
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with agencies and talent representatives to support consistent access to creators
  • Identify and help secure relevant talent opportunities that contribute to brand authority, audience growth, and programming needs
  • Assist in maintaining and improving internal booking processes to ensure efficient delivery across interviews, shows, podcasts, events, and branded content
  • Support day-to-day project coordination using internal tools such as Asana, Slack, and Google Drive to help ensure talent campaigns are well-organised, on schedule, and tracked against budget expectations
  • Develop a strong working understanding of Dexerto’s client portfolio, including prior creator strategies, brand voice, campaign performance, and commercial objectives, to effectively support Creative Strategy and Customer Success teams
  • Build and develop relationships with US agents, managers, publicists, PR teams, and creators across gaming, esports, streaming, and entertainment
  • Support talent-facing discussions and negotiations, working closely with senior team members where required
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of agency structures, talent rosters, and emerging creator trends
  • Partner closely with US Editorial, Video, Production, and Sales to align talent access with programming and advertiser strategy
  • Support commercial initiatives by facilitating talent participation in branded campaigns and partnerships
  • Advise on talent packaging opportunities for advertisers within gaming and entertainment verticals
  • Collaborate on content formats that strengthen recurring access to high-value talent
  • Support day-to-day talent negotiations with professionalism, discretion, and commercial awareness, escalating complex matters where appropriate
  • Navigate sensitive talent dynamics with diplomacy and sound judgment
  • Deliver a high-quality talent experience across all Dexerto touchpoints
  • Act as a responsible ambassador for Dexerto within the US media and creator ecosystem

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in talent relations, talent management, media partnerships, or agency-side representation within the US market
  • An existing knowledge and/or network across US agencies, management firms, publicists, or creator representation, with the ability to continue developing those relationships
  • Experience supporting or securing talent across digital media, interviews, campaigns, live programming, or branded content initiatives
  • Strong understanding of the US gaming, esports, streaming, influencer, and entertainment industries
  • Commercial awareness and experience contributing to revenue-driving initiatives through talent partnerships
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with experience participating in negotiations
  • High emotional intelligence and strong relationship-building capability
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-stage media environment
  • Flexibility to manage time-sensitive opportunities, including occasional evenings and weekends when required
