About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with the Federal Sales Team to bring evidence-based clinical education and support to Veterans Affairs (VA) and Department of Defense (DoD) healthcare systems
  • Deliver clinical education and evidence-based guidance to improve outcomes for Veterans, active-duty military members, and their families through diabetes technology
  • Serve as a trusted clinical partner within VA and DoD healthcare systems to drive adoption, utilization, and the future of diabetes care across federal accounts
  • Partner with Federal Business Managers to develop and execute strategic and tactical plans driving adoption, utilization, and sales growth across VA and DoD accounts
  • Educate providers, healthcare staff, and patients by translating complex clinical concepts into clear, actionable information
  • Build relationships with providers, pharmacy leaders, administrators, contracting stakeholders, and other Federal healthcare influencers
  • Deliver customized presentations to internal and external audiences using clinical evidence and data
  • Identify business opportunities and provide consultative support influencing customer decisions and advancing Federal sales initiatives
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Training, Regulatory Affairs, and other home office partners
  • Gather and communicate marketplace insights to inform business strategy, customer engagement, and commercial opportunities
  • Maintain quality, compliance, and adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage multiple priorities while supporting extensive travel requirements of up to 75%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current CDCES or PharmD credential
  • Deep expertise in diabetes management, glucose interpretation, and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technology
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8–12 years of related experience
  • Graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience
  • Experience working within Federal healthcare systems, including Veterans Affairs (VA) and Department of Defense (DoD) environments
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic and tactical plans with Federal Business Managers
  • Ability to educate providers, healthcare staff, and patients by translating complex clinical concepts into actionable information
  • Ability to build relationships with Federal healthcare decision makers and influencers
  • Ability to deliver customized presentations using clinical evidence and data
  • Ability to identify business opportunities and provide consultative support
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work across Sales, Marketing, Training, Regulatory Affairs, and home office teams
  • Commitment to quality, compliance, company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to support travel requirements of up to 75%
  • Prior Federal healthcare sales experience and understanding of government healthcare policies, processes, and stakeholder dynamics (Preferred)
  • Military experience or familiarity with military healthcare systems (Preferred)
