About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop cloud-based software systems, including APIs and websites, as part of a multidisciplinary Agile team
  • Participate in and drive the gathering and documentation of technical requirements
  • Interface directly with UX Design, tech support, and tech leads to understand customer needs
  • Provide integration/onboarding and sustaining support
  • Select development approaches that accommodate uncertainty in requirements and changing needs
  • Apply best practices for application development, testing, and deployment in an Agile environment
  • Identify opportunities to optimize quality management
  • Support product assurance in diagnosing and resolving bugs
  • Build UI and APIs for customer onboarding, customer login, account management, hospital/partner integrations, and CGM data exchange

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
  • Minimum of 0-2 years of related experience
  • Experience developing full-stack applications, preferably in a cloud environment such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Knowledge of modern authentication and SSO frameworks such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID, and/or SAML
  • Programming skills in Kotlin, Java, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages
  • Experience building frontend and backend applications with modern frameworks and technologies
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB, or DynamoDB, or RDBMS databases such as MySQL, Postgres, or Oracle
  • Familiarity with modern software testing tools and equipment
  • Experience building cloud-based container components and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working in distributed environments
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment and manage time to meet schedules
  • Participation in Agile software development
  • Exposure to GitHub Actions, Helm, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS
