About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain automated backend and UI test solutions for web-based applications.
Design and implement APIs and service endpoints to support automated updates to web portals, notifications, reporting, and documentation generation.
Create integrations between enterprise tools such as Jira, TestRail, Slack, GitHub, and Datadog to streamline workflows and automate data transfers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and continuous process improvement.
Measure and track automation effectiveness, including ROI and quality metrics, to drive informed decision-making.
Partner with Software Development, Quality Assurance, Product Management, Product Owners, and Regulatory teams to define project scope and deliver high-quality solutions.
Contribute to the enhancement of validation frameworks and testing infrastructure that support Dexcom's software portfolio.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 0-2 years of related experience.
Experience programming in object-oriented languages, preferably Python.
Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites for web applications.
Proficiency integrating tools such as Jira, TestRail, GitHub, databases, web portals, and cloud-based services.
Experience supporting automated testing within CI/CD environments, including tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services related to compute, storage, authentication, and application deployment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through automation.
Effective communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
