About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You will lead the software engineering organization responsible for Dexcom’s Clinical Applications portfolio
You will establish a product-based development model with aligned cross-functional teams focused on end-to-end ownership
You will lead engineering teams operating within a Product Operating Model with end-to-end ownership and accountability for customer outcomes
You will drive modern engineering practices including CI/CD pipelines, AI-Assisted development workflows, automated testing, integrated quality engineering, and reliable software delivery at scale
You will ensure test, quality, and verification considerations are incorporated early in the product development lifecycle to improve product reliability and release confidence
You will partner with architecture and platform teams to develop scalable, intelligent software solutions leveraging modern cloud and AI-enabled technologies where appropriate.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 17+ years of industry experience
Requires a degree in a technical discipline
13+ years of successful management experience in relevant industry
Deep experience leading software engineering organizations delivering mobile, cloud, and connected healthcare applications at scale
Strong technical depth across modern software architecture, cloud platforms, application development, APIs, and software quality practices
Experience driving transformation toward modern software engineering practices including CI/CD, automated quality frameworks, and integrated product team delivery models
Experience incorporating AI-enabled capabilities, intelligent tooling, or data-driven automation into software products or development workflows.
