About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Leverage expertise in planning & organizing, financial analysis, vendor management, and IT risk management.
Coordinate, develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for IT infrastructure.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses for infrastructure projects.
Prepare detailed budgets and forecasts for IT infrastructure investments.
Monitor and report on ROI for infrastructure initiatives.
Lead meetings, strategic workshops and planning sessions.
Establish, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT infrastructure performance.
Assess and select third-party vendors for hardware, software, and managed services.
Identify, assess, and prioritize IT risks, including cybersecurity threats, data integrity issues, and system downtime.
Oversee the implementation of infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure planning, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or regulated industry (medical device experience strongly preferred).
Proven track record in financial analysis, vendor management, and IT risk management.
High level knowledge of IT infrastructure components (e.g., virtualization, cloud platforms like AWS/Azure, networking, storage solutions).
Familiarity with manufacturing systems such as MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), ERP (e.g., Oracle EBS).
Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and system reliability planning.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
Strong communication skills to collaborate remotely with technical teams, executives, and external vendors via virtual platforms.
Ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
