About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and own the technical direction and standards for Windows and macOS endpoints
Design scalable, secure, and supportable endpoint architectures using modern management platforms
Lead and manage complex endpoint projects from planning to execution
Partner with Security, Infrastructure, Manufacturing IT, and R&D teams to ensure endpoint solutions meet compliance, validation, and audit requirements
Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex endpoint issues
Establish and enforce endpoint standards, best practices, and lifecycle processes to drive consistency
Develop and enforce systems policies, procedures, and standards to ensure optimal performance and security
Mentor and influence senior engineers through technical guidance, design reviews, and best-practice alignment.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
Minimum of 13+ years related experience or a Master’s degree and 8+ years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 5+ years of experience
Strong, hands-on endpoint engineer with deep expertise in Windows and macOS endpoint platforms
Advanced scripting and automation capabilities, with proven expertise in PowerShell, Python, and Bash
Strong experience designing and operating endpoint management solutions using tools such as Intune, MECM, and Jamf
Proficiency in endpoint security, hardening, and configuration management.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to translate root cause analysis into durable engineering solutions
Ability to influence without authority and mentor other engineers through design reviews and best-practice guidance.
