About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a regional field sales training team focused on coaching sales representatives.
  • Collaborate with VP sales and regional sales directors for coaching and training needs.
  • Work with Sales Training Design & Development to create and implement customized training programs.
  • Provide field insights that help drive strategy and direction.
  • Demonstrate leadership and technical skills to manage multiple training programs.
  • Establish the annual regional field training strategy based on current business needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 13 years of industry experience.
  • 5-8 years of previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated proven success working in a fast-paced heavily matrixed organization in a life-science, sales and/or training & development position.
  • Understanding of the competencies of medical and/or pharmaceutical sales representatives and their leadership is essential.
  • Strong communication skills that allow you to work closely with the VP – Sales and Regional Sales Directors.
  • Effective coach and will develop your regional field sales training team for strong results & career growth.
  • Fluent in the English language and possess excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends and/or evening work, with overnight travel to regional/ corporate headquarter meetings.
