Plan and maintain a strategic IT infrastructure roadmap spanning servers, networks, cloud platforms, and data storage.
Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to align infrastructure capabilities with business priorities and the medical device lifecycle.
Lead financial analysis for infrastructure initiatives, including CapEx/OpEx planning, budgeting, forecasting, and ROI evaluation.
Evaluate vendors by assessing technical fit, cost, risk, and regulatory compliance.
Establish operating mechanisms by facilitating planning sessions, leading strategic workshops, and developing KPIs to measure performance, cost efficiency, uptime, and compliance.
Identify and mitigate IT risks, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and other regulations.
Manage infrastructure projects such as upgrades, migrations, and new deployments, coordinating remotely to meet timelines and budgets.

Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
Minimum of 8-12 years related experience or Master’s degree and 5-7 years equivalent industry experience.
Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure domains including virtualization, networking, storage, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Experience supporting manufacturing environments, with familiarity in systems such as MES and ERP (e.g., Oracle EBS).
Financial acumen enables performing cost modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis for infrastructure investments.
Skilled in vendor management, including evaluating solutions, negotiating agreements, and monitoring vendor performance.
Understanding of IT risk management, cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and business continuity planning within regulated environments.
