About the role
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of embedded analyte measurement, signal processing and fault detection algorithms.
- Responsible for improving upon Dexcom’s current Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) platform.
- Drive the design, development, and implementation of novel continuous sensing products expanding Dexcom’s portfolio.
- Gain and maintain organizational alignment around a long-term enabling technology roadmap.
- Manage, mentor a team of scientists and engineers on product design and development.
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a technical discipline with 17+ years of industry experience.
- 13+ years of years of successful leadership experience in relevant industry.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams focused on end-to-end lifecycle of product development.
- Industry-leading expertise in methods of statistical estimation, joint probabilities, and modeling.
- Experience with design and clinical testing of medical devices preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to drive technology development and influence commercial product strategy.
- Track record of successful development and commercialization of sensing and measurement systems preferred.
